NJ Real Estate Salesperson Licensing Course

REAL ESTATE LICENSING PROCESS

1. After you complete all 75 hours of course sessions as required, you will need to register to take the school exam on our website certifying you met all the requirements.

2. We will then enter you into our exam system manually after confirming you met all the requirements. 

3. Then you may take the school final exam online through our website when you are ready. 

4. Upon passing the course final exam you will be able to schedule your real estate salesperson exam with PSI Exams once we upload your information into their system.

5. After passing your state licensing exams with PSI you’ll need to get fingerprinted, and affiliate with a real estate firm and pay $160 to the state treasurer in order to have your license activated which renews June 30th odd years.
   
   

NJ REAL ESTATE LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a legal resident in the USA (even though NJ allows illegal aliens to obtain a professional license)

• Must be 18 years of age before taking the state exam to get the license. The class can be taken if 17 with a parent / legal guardian signing you up.

• No criminal convictions in the last 5 years including shoplifting

• Not be behind 6 months or more on child support or court ordered healthcare for the child

• Must have a high school education or equivalent. If you need to get your GED 

READY TO REGISTER?

1. Registrations are done online on a first come, first serve basis. Once a class reaches capacity it is grayed out on the calendar page. (See our class calendar page for schedules)

2. Full payment is required for registration. Pay by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Bank Cards with Visa/Mastercard Logo, Paypal and Zelle or Cash. Payment plans may be available through third parties like paypal or klarna as examples.

3. All classroom sessions must be completed before the final exams can be administered. 

   • Students cannot miss more than 15 hours of class maximum without being required to make it up. If a student misses a class/session, attending less than 80% of the class time required, arrangements must be made with the school to make-up the time, the content can be made up attending the same class/session missed in a future class or watching the recorded class sessions (class hours cannot be made up this way).

   • Attendance from previous course may not be applied to future course.

4. Remote Learning via ZOOM: Students are required to be visible on camera throughout the course at all times. Students are expected to attend as if this class was in-person, in a classroom. (ie: no lying in bed, no driving during class or being driven, doing personal business, working out, getting hair done, watching tv, bouncing in and out of classroom, etc.) Classes are recorded and monitored; any violation can result in lack of credit for the class and/or termination from the program. Students are responsible for making sure their device is compatible and that the camera is in working order prior to the start of class. We do not recommend using a cell phone for this course.

CURRENT TEXTBOOKS:
Salesperson Pre-Licensing Course uses "Essentials of New Jersey Real Estate 18th Edition" and are included in the course price, available in Print or E-book (this is not a PDF, it requires a reader software from the book manufacturer which is free).

CLASS REQUIREMENTS 

• Classes require a minimum of 6 students in order to be held. 

• If a class is no longer displayed, it has either reached capacity or has been cancelled due to low enrollment.

• Classes are subject to change/cancel, change notifications are posted on our calendar page, and/or sent via phone or email.

• Students MUST contact us to arrange picking up your textbook or having it mailed for $10 S&H
