Registering for the NJ Broker State Exam
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I PASS THE SCHOOL EXAM?
After broker student passes the school final exam, we get a notification from the exam system with your grade.
Then at that point we will double check the student records to ensure they paid and registered to take the class with us in the first place.
Then we will double check they registered and paid for the school exam.
Then we will double check student completed required hours and that student has supplied us with a copy of their waivers if they needed one.
Then School will generate and email a school completion certificate for each of the class modules the student successfully completed. (Note: We will not certify 90 hour core class until student passes the school exam with a 70% passing score. This must be completed within 1 year of their 90 hour class start date otherwise student must take class and exam over. CE credits will not be given for this module until the school exam has been passed.)
After student completes the class, if they have not done so already, must have their broker(s) under which they were licensed as salespersons with (FULL TIME for the last (3) three years immediately prior to their application for the brokers license) complete an experience history report application.
Students will need a completed "Broker Experience History Report", School Certificates for all 3 modules or for 2 - 30 hour classes plus a waiver if it applies to them in lieu of the 90 hour class along with the appropriate fee which can be located on the licensing fee schedule here
Then send it to the NJ REC to get permission to take the NJ State Exam through the PSI testing system. Once student gets that permission they will follow instructions provided by NJ REC
information about receiving CE credits for the courses completed can be found below on this page.
