Tenancy by the Entirety
A type of ownership traditionally reserved just for a husband and wife. Each has an undivided interest in the entire property and upon the death of one, the survivor automatically owns the entire property. Under New Jersey's Civil Union laws, members of a civil union may now also hold title as tenants by the entirety
